Ryan's birthday party isn't until Monday, and so we wanted to do something fun today! My mom is amazing and invited Ryan and all his cousins to Jungle Jims for his birthday! They had so much fun! Kendall was so cute and loved going on all the rides. She even went on the roller coster with me! They also had fun playing the arcade games. We earned enough tickets for the kids to pick a few things and the prize counter. Thanks, Momma, for making Ryan's birthday so much fun!

My 1st Grader!

Today Ryan had his first day of school. He was so excited! He didn't feel like walking and so we all drove up together. When we got there he found some friends and played tag until the teachers came out. He had a big smile on his face the whole time as he walked into the school. Cooper was kind of sad when he found out that Ryan was going to be in school all day just like Riley. Cooper really missed him, but he ended up having a fun time playing with Kendall. He was so sweet to her all day.

When Ryan got home he told me that he had such a fun time! He really likes his teacher and is super excited to go back on Monday. I asked him if he liked eating lunch in the cafeteria and he said "yes, but something bad happened." He told me that after he got his lunch, he spilled his chocolate milk all over his food. He said he was really sad, but the teacher helped him get some new food and so he was happy. He liked his hamburger :)

Riley was happy again, too when she got home. She really likes her teachers and she said that 3rd grade is way more fun than 2nd! I'm glad that my kids like school...I hope they always do!

Riley's First Day of School!

Today was Riley's first day of school. She was so excited to start! When she got home she had a big smile on her face and she said that she really liked her teachers and that 3rd grade was fun!  :)

Ryan had an appt to meet with his teacher today. Mom came over to watch Cooper and Kendall so I could take him up to the school. Ryan was pretty excited and saw some of his friends that were in his Kindergarten class. Ryan's teacher seemed really nice and so I hope he has a fun year! Tomorrow is his first official day of school.

Having Fun with Kitties and Bugs

The kids had fun playing in the front yard this morning. We found some ladybugs, a praying mantis, and had fun playing with Suki. I wanted to get some good pictures of Kendall, but she is so wild and crazy...she didn't want to sit still. I think I was able to get a few good shots...I need to sit down and figure out the setting on my camera.

Happy Birthday to my little buddy, Ryan! He is such a sweet boy. Some of his favorite things are Nintendo (his favorite game is the Legend of Zelda), swords, drawing, and the movie Willow. Ryan started Kindergarten in the Fall and he is loving school. He is an awesome brother and we love him so much!

For Ryan's Birthday Party we decided to have a Zelda/Nintendo theme. I made a Link cake, we had heart cookies, and red potion for the drinks. For the games we played Nintendo memory, Zelda Bingo, and capture the Ghosts! I think they all had fun time. :)  

Ryan's Class

I went and helped out in Ryan's class today. Ryan didn't know I was there until his teacher asked him to turn off the lights. He saw me and got really excited. It was cute :)   I like seeing him at school and seeing his friends. They are fun. One of the little girls told me that she liked my headband  :)  She was so cute. I told her I liked her boots. :)  I'm glad I was able to go in and help out.
